Take a day out on our Turtle and Keri Caves Tour. Located in the south of the island, Marathonisi, also known as the “Turtle Island” is home to our famous island residents, the Caretta-Caretta loggerhead turtles! Marathonisi is part of the National Marine Park of Zakynthos and a perfect location to meet the turtles up close.

Departure from Alikanas Port

This 6 hour turtle spotting tour starts from the port of Alikanas. Our first photo stop is at Porto zoro beach , After Porto zoro, we visit Marathonisi, where you can relax on its fine sand and swim in its clear waters. Our next swim stop is at the incredible Keri Caves. These breathtaking caves in the South-West area of the island, are accessible only by boat. The water is clear and has amazing blue colours because of the sunlight that is reflected inside the caves.After Keri Caves, our turtle spotting adventure begins at Agios sostis beach next to Cameo island and front of Laganas bay near by National Marine Park. Our experience skipper will guarantee you that you will spot a turtle for sure!

• Stop 1: Turtle island (Marathonisi)
  Our first stop is the famous Turtle Island, also known as Marathonisi. Shaped like a turtle, this island is a protected nesting site for the endangered loggerhead sea turtles (Caretta caretta). Here, you can relax on the sandy beaches, swim in the crystal-clear waters, and enjoy the serene surroundings. • Stop 2: Keri Caves
  Next, we cruise to the mesmerizing Keri Caves. These magnificent sea caves are renowned for their stunning blue waters and impressive rock formations. As we navigate through the caves, you'll have the opportunity to explore the hidden grottos and swim in the translucent waters. • Stop 3: Myzithres
  Our journey continues to the breathtaking Myzithres, a pair of towering rock formations rising majestically from the sea. The striking white cliffs and the deep blue waters make this a perfect spot for a swim and to soak in the dramatic beauty of Zakynthos' coastline. The view from Myzithres is simply awe-inspiring, providing a fantastic backdrop for memorable photos.
• Stop 4: Cameo island
  Cameo Island, with its iconic wooden bridge, is our next destination. This private island offers a unique charm with its lush greenery and clear waters. It's a wonderful spot to relax, take a leisurely stroll, and enjoy the peaceful ambiance. The island's beach bar is perfect for sipping a refreshing drink while taking in the panoramic views.
• Stop 5: Turtle Spotting

  As we make our way back, we'll take a detour to a well-known turtle spotting area. Here, you can observe the graceful loggerhead turtles swimming in their natural environment. This close encounter with these gentle creatures is a highlight of the trip and a moment that will stay with you long after the cruise is over.
• Return to Alikanas Port
  After a day filled with exploration and relaxation, we head back to Alikanas Port. As we sail back, enjoy the last moments of the sea breeze and the beautiful coastal views. Our crew will ensure you are comfortable and well taken care of until we reach the port.
